Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Mimmo Paladino achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in May 2019. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work without title sold for EUR 17,500.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mimmo Paladino achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vespero in November 2008 with an auction result of EUR 216,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Mimmo Paladino erzielte im Mai 2019 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für EUR 17.500,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mimmo Paladino erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vespero im November 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 216.750,00.
