Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 7,575.00 (€ 6,464.41) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 6,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Mohau Modisakeng have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work South Africanuntitled, Qhatha Series, 2010 - 2011 in March 2018 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,040.69).
