This artwork by Moïse Kisling achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in June 2021. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Jeune fille sold for USD 40,320.00 (€ 34,031.06) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Moïse Kisling achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Course de taureaux in June this year with an auction result of GBP 472,500.00 (€ 549,908.65).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Moïse Kisling erzielte im Juni 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Jeune fille für USD 40.320,00 (€ 34.031,06) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 20.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Moïse Kisling erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Course de taureaux im Juni diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 472.500,00 (€ 549.908,65).
