Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dues figures by Montserrat Gudiol was sold in the Modernismo: Spanish Artists of the 20th Century auction at Sothebys in New York in April last year. The price achieved of USD 882.00 (€ 837.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 700.00 – 1,000.00. Admittedly, works by Montserrat Gudiol have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Donna pregant. 1969. in June 2017 with an auction result of CHF 5,625.00 (€ 5,142.41).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 882,00 (€ 837,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 700,00 – 1.000,00 angegeben worden.
