Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Miki - Earth Glowing Gold by Mr.. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 2,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 3,048,000.00 (€ 356,889.62). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Mr. achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 4,656,652.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Miki - Earth Glowing Gold von Mr. zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 2.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 3.048.000,00 (€ 356.889,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Mr. erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Exercising My Telekinetic Powers (Painted In 2012) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 4.656.652,17).
