In January 2024 a collector was able to acquire the work Coastal scenery from the North Sea by Niels Frederik Schiøttz-Jensen for DKK 2,000.00 (€ 1,747.95). This price was achieved in the auction Paintings, furniture and varia at Bruun Rasmussen and was even lower than the DKK 4,000.00 estimate set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Niels Frederik Schiøttz-Jensen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A woman in a white dress overlooking the sea in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 11,000.00 (€ 9,613.70).
