A top price for Nanna Hänninen
In June 2007 Christies in London held the auction Nordic Art and Design, which included the work Airport of Ponta Delgada by Nanna Hänninen. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,684.44), 44% above the upper estimate. With this result, Airport of Ponta Delgada is even the most expensive work of art by Nanna Hänninen that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Juni 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion Nordic Art and Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Airport of Ponta Delgada von Nanna Hänninen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.684,44) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Airport of Ponta Delgada sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Nanna Hänninen, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
