The work Fetching Water by Ng Po Wan was sold in the Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 250,000.00 (€ 22,363.66), 67% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ng Po Wan have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Atlantic Coast in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).

Die Arbeit Fetching Water von Ng Po Wan wurde im Mai 2011 in der Auktion Chinese 20th Century Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 22.363,66) und damit 67% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ng Po Wan auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Atlantic Coast im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
