The work The Madonna and Child by Niccolò di Tommaso was sold in the Old Masters Evening Sale auction at Christies in London in December 2016. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 87,500.00 (€ 102,301.70), 46% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Niccolò di Tommaso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A triptych: central panel: The Madonna and Child Enthroned, with saints and Christ Blessing; the wings: The Annunciation; The Nativity; and The Crucifixion in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 631,500.00 (€ 579,623.68).

Die Arbeit The Madonna and Child von Niccolò di Tommaso wurde im Dezember 2016 in der Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 87.500,00 (€ 102.301,70) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Niccolò di Tommaso auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A triptych: central panel: The Madonna and Child Enthroned, with saints and Christ Blessing; the wings: The Annunciation; The Nativity; and The Crucifixion im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 631.500,00 (€ 579.623,68).
