Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of GBP 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 103,250.00 (€ 108,442.54). Admittedly, works by Niccolò di Tommaso have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A triptych: central panel: The Madonna and Child Enthroned, with saints and Christ Blessing; the wings: The Annunciation; The Nativity; and The Crucifixion in April 2017 with an auction result of USD 631,500.00 (€ 579,623.68).
