Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2018 Christies in London held the auction Important Old Master Paintings from The Eric Albada Jelgersma Collection: Evening sale, which included the work The Watering Place by Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem. The price achieved of GBP 248,750.00 (€ 277,129.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work L'Enfance De Jupiter was auctioned for EUR 361,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Important Old Master Paintings from The Eric Albada Jelgersma Collection: Evening sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Watering Place von Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 248.750,00 (€ 277.129,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit L'Enfance De Jupiter für EUR 361.000,00 versteigert.
