Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Old Masters Evening Sale, which included the work An evening landscape with drovers and their animals by a river by Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem. The price achieved of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 360,699.77) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 250,000.00 – 350,000.00. Other works by Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2010 the work L'Enfance De Jupiter was auctioned for EUR 361,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Old Masters Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An evening landscape with drovers and their animals by a river von Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 360.699,77) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 250.000,00 – 350.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Nicolaes Pietersz. Berchem konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2010 die Arbeit L'Enfance De Jupiter für EUR 361.000,00 versteigert.
