Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Phillips in Hong Kong held the auction Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches, which included the work Trees by Nicolas Party. The price achieved of HKD 12,550,000.00 (€ 1,504,256.62) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 10,000,000.00 – 15,000,000.00. Admittedly, works by Nicolas Party have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Blue Sunset in November last year with an auction result of HKD 52,050,000.00 (€ 6,458,979.95).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Phillips in Hong Kong die Auktion Disruptors: Evening Sale of 20th Century & Contemporary Art, Design and Watches durch, in der auch die Arbeit Trees von Nicolas Party zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 12.550.000,00 (€ 1.504.256,62) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 10.000.000,00 – 15.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Nicolas Party auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Blue Sunset im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 52.050.000,00 (€ 6.458.979,95).
