It changed hands for a price of CNY 96,000.00 (€ 12,926.11) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of CNY 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Other works by Niu Chao have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in September 2019 the work Verdant Riverbank was auctioned for CNY 108,000.00 (€ 13,855.30).
