Auction result misses estimated price range
In May last year a collector was able to acquire the work Pangina Heals in Hollywood by Norrel Blair for USD 216.75 (€ 201.98). This price was achieved in the auction The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Norrel Blair have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carlos & Christian in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,275.00 (€ 1,188.15).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Mai letzten Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Pangina Heals in Hollywood von Norrel Blair für USD 216,75 (€ 201,98) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Art of _Supporting The Laurel Foundation bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 300,00 – 500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Norrel Blair auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carlos & Christian im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.275,00 (€ 1.188,15).
