The work "Melankolisk scen II" by Ola Billgren was sold in the Contemporary Art & Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in June 2020. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 330,000.00 (€ 31,557.30), 32% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ola Billgren achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Tarragona" in May 2012 with an auction result of SEK 3,500,000.00 (€ 369,702.36).

Die Arbeit "Melankolisk scen II" von Ola Billgren wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Contemporary Art & Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 330.000,00 (€ 31.557,30) und damit 32% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ola Billgren erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Tarragona" im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 3.500.000,00 (€ 369.702,36).
