Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Danish the Still River by Ole Ring was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2016. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,691.62) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ole Ring - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Danish vinterlandsby (Town In Winter), which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 30,000.00 (€ 35,849.95).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
