Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Olga Albizu was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in November 2019. The price achieved of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,956.89) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Olga Albizu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in September last year with an auction result of USD 151,200.00 (€ 154,553.82).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Olga Albizu wurde im November 2019 in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.956,89) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Olga Albizu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im September letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 151.200,00 (€ 154.553,82).
