This artwork by Orovida Camille Pissarro achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in May 2010. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work Summer-Picking Peas sold for GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,448.66) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 6,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Orovida Camille Pissarro; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Dinka With A Bongo sold at auction in July 2007 with the realized price of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,367.08).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Orovida Camille Pissarro erzielte im Mai 2010 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century British Art wurde die Arbeit Summer-Picking Peas für GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.448,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 6.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Orovida Camille Pissarro; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Dinka With A Bongo im Juli 2007 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.367,08).
