Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In June 2006 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale, which included the work Homme À La Pipe Assis Et Amour by Pablo Picasso. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 4,264,000.00 (€ 6,169,936.93). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Juni 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Evening Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Homme À La Pipe Assis Et Amour von Pablo Picasso zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 4.264.000,00 (€ 6.169.936,93) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
