Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hemp Cloth 83-18 by Park Jang-Nyun was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2018. It changed hands for a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 12,973.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 85,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Park Jang-Nyun have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Engraving Thread-Like Body H-7.3 in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 625,000.00 (€ 67,290.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Hemp Cloth 83-18 von Park Jang-Nyun kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 12.973,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 85.000,00 – 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Park Jang-Nyun auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Engraving Thread-Like Body H-7.3 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 625.000,00 (€ 67.290,72).
