This artwork by Paul-Elie Gernez achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in December 2006. In the Collection du Professeur René Kuss - Tableaux Impressionnistes et Modernes auction, the work Bouquet de fleurs sold for EUR 11,400.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Paul-Elie Gernez; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Notre Dame de Grace sold at auction in February 2001 with the realized price of USD 11,750.00 (€ 12,755.10).

In der Auktion Collection du Professeur René Kuss - Tableaux Impressionnistes et Modernes wurde die Arbeit Bouquet de fleurs für EUR 11.400,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Paul-Elie Gernez; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Notre Dame de Grace im Februar 2001 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 11.750,00 (€ 12.755,10).
