Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Young Danish Girl by Paul Gustav Fischer was auctioned at Christies in New York in April 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 18,971.52) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Paul Gustav Fischer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Winter's Day on Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 144,000.00 (€ 112,737.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Young Danish Girl von Paul Gustav Fischer kam im April 2019 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 18.971,52) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Gustav Fischer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Winter's Day on Kongens Nytorv, Copenhagen im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 144.000,00 (€ 112.737,81).
