Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Phenomena Uranus Voice, 1968 by Paul Jenkins was auctioned at Bonhams in February this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 28,050.00 (€ 26,457.27). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Paul Jenkins - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Phenomena Arroyo Sounding, which sold at auction in March 2017 for USD 87,500.00 (€ 81,790.99).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Phenomena Uranus Voice, 1968 von Paul Jenkins kam im Februar diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 28.050,00 (€ 26.457,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Paul Jenkins mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Phenomena Arroyo Sounding beobachtet, die im März 2017 für USD 87.500,00 (€ 81.790,99) versteigert wurde.
