Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2006 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Old Master Paintings - Furniture & Works of Art - Archaeology, which included the work Normandie, Pecheurs Sur La Greve by Paul Mathey. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 3,083.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Mathey achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Connoisseur, possibly Erastène Ramiro (1853-1928) in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 47,750.00 (€ 56,093.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2006 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Old Master Paintings - Furniture & Works of Art - Archaeology durch, in der auch die Arbeit Normandie, Pecheurs Sur La Greve von Paul Mathey zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 3.083,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Mathey erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Connoisseur, possibly Erastène Ramiro (1853-1928) im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 47.750,00 (€ 56.093,95).
