Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Formes en Mouvement by Paule Vézelay was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Christies in London in July 2014. The price achieved of GBP 4,000.00 (€ 5,045.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paule Vézelay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Two Red Forms in March last year with an auction result of GBP 32,760.00 (€ 38,840.67).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Formes en Mouvement von Paule Vézelay wurde im Juli 2014 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.000,00 (€ 5.045,26) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paule Vézelay auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Two Red Forms im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 32.760,00 (€ 38.840,67).
