Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Untitled (Light My Fire) by Pauline Boty was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 7,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 9,002.45). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pauline Boty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work With Love to Jean-Paul Belmondo in June last year with an auction result of GBP 1,159,500.00 (€ 1,347,009.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Untitled (Light My Fire) von Pauline Boty wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Modern & Post-War British Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 7.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 9.002,45) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pauline Boty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit With Love to Jean-Paul Belmondo im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.159.500,00 (€ 1.347.009,17).
