This artwork by Pauline Boty achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in November 2017. In the Modern British & Irish Art Evening Sale auction, the work BUM sold for GBP 632,750.00 (€ 718,265.38) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 300,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Pauline Boty; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot With Love to Jean-Paul Belmondo sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of GBP 1,159,500.00 (€ 1,347,009.17).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Pauline Boty erzielte im November 2017 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Pauline Boty; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit With Love to Jean-Paul Belmondo im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 1.159.500,00 (€ 1.347.009,17).
