Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Peter Fendi could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Standing Infant, Seen From Behind changed hands for USD 120.00 (€ 99.19) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Peter Fendi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sneaking A Peek in March 2005 with an auction result of GBP 43,360.00 (€ 63,149.33).
