Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Philip Rickman could be acquired at Christies in London in August 2011 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Christie's Interiors auction, the work A covey of partridge above the Tarn changed hands for GBP 137.50 (€ 155.28) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Philip Rickman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landscape studies: A covey of grouse above moorland, Eskhill; A capercaillie in flight among pines, Montreithment Moor; Blackgame in a landscape, between Forfar and Blhy; Pheasant in clearing in December 2017 with an auction result of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Philip Rickman konnte im August 2011 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Philip Rickman erzielen.
