Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2017 Christies in London held the auction The Astor Collection from Tillypronie, Aberdeenshire, which included the work Seven studies of peregrine falcon and kestrel by Philip Rickman. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,750.00 (€ 1,969.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Other works by Philip Rickman have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2017 the work Landscape studies: A covey of grouse above moorland, Eskhill; A capercaillie in flight among pines, Montreithment Moor; Blackgame in a landscape, between Forfar and Blhy; Pheasant in clearing was auctioned for GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,813.38).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.750,00 (€ 1.969,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00.
