In the The House Sale auction, the work Racehorse And Jockey sold for USD 537.75 (€ 441.39) - well above the upper estimate of USD 300.00. Admittedly, works by Philip Rideout have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Going to the meet; Returning from the meet in February 2002 with an auction result of USD 2,350.00 (€ 2,714.25).
