Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction Modern Art + Design, which included the work Still life with green peas by Philip von Schantz. It changed hands for a price of SEK 120,000.00 (€ 12,424.05) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00. Admittedly, works by Philip von Schantz have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) in April 2012 with an auction result of SEK 950,000.00 (€ 106,712.53).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2017 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion Modern Art + Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with green peas von Philip von Schantz zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von SEK 120.000,00 (€ 12.424,05) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Philip von Schantz auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Rensåpa" (Still life with blue berries) im April 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 950.000,00 (€ 106.712,53).
