Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Piero Dorazio - LÌ. LÌ. LÌ - 1984 by Piero Dorazio was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Milan in July last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 40,000.00 – 60,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 44,100.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Dorazio achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Troppo segreto, 1961 in June last year with an auction result of EUR 819,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Piero Dorazio - LÌ. LÌ. LÌ - 1984 von Piero Dorazio wurde im Juli letzten Jahres in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Mailand versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 44.100,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Dorazio erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Troppo segreto, 1961 im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 819.000,00.
