The work Merda D'Artista by Piero Manzoni was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in June 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 250,000.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 39 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Piero Manzoni achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Achrome in October 2014 with an auction result of GBP 12,626,500.00 (€ 16,122,216.56).

Die Arbeit Merda D'Artista von Piero Manzoni kam im Juni 2020 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 250.000,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 39 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Piero Manzoni erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Achrome im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.626.500,00 (€ 16.122.216,56).
