This artwork by Piero Pizzi Canella achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2007. In the Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française auction, the work Sans titre sold for EUR 7,200.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Piero Pizzi Canella; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ombracinese sold at auction in April 2006 with the realized price of EUR 10,200.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Piero Pizzi Canella erzielte im März 2007 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Arts de l'Orient et des Indes du XIème au XXIème siècle Provenant d'une collection française wurde die Arbeit Sans titre für EUR 7.200,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Piero Pizzi Canella; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ombracinese im April 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 10.200,00.
