Auction result well in line with expectations
In February 2018 Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Paysage, chemin à la sortie d'un bois by Pierre-Auguste Renoir. The price achieved of GBP 150,000.00 (€ 169,445.58) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre-Auguste Renoir achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet in May last year with an auction result of USD 24,435,000.00 (€ 22,770,478.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar 2018 führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paysage, chemin à la sortie d'un bois von Pierre-Auguste Renoir zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 150.000,00 (€ 169.445,58) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre-Auguste Renoir erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Berthe Morisot et sa fille, Julie Manet im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 24.435.000,00 (€ 22.770.478,05).
