Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Contemplations by Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans was sold in the Orientalist Art auction at Bonhams in October 2021. The price achieved of GBP 7,012.50 (€ 8,307.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Dancing Girls in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,819.00).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Contemplations von Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans wurde im Oktober 2021 in der Auktion Orientalist Art bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.012,50 (€ 8.307,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Dancing Girls im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.819,00).
