Admittedly, works by Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Dancing Girls in June 2006 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 86,819.00).

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 19.205,60) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pierre Olivier Joseph Coomans auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Dancing Girls im Juni 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 86.819,00).
