Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pietro Chiesa could be acquired at Christies in London in June 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Works of Art from the Collection of S.A.R. La Principessa Reale Maria Gabriella di Savoia auction, the work Vision of Christ Appears Before St. Francis of Assisi changed hands for GBP 180.00 (€ 267.11) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 300.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pietro Chiesa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Landschaft im Tessin. 1945. in June 2015 with an auction result of CHF 5,625.00 (€ 5,395.54).

La Principessa Reale Maria Gabriella di Savoia wechselte die Arbeit Vision of Christ Appears Before St. Francis of Assisi für GBP 180,00 (€ 267,11) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 200,00 – 300,00.
