Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Centrepiece by Pietro Chiesa was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in May 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,800.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,875.00 (€ 2,081.46). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pietro Chiesa - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Landschaft im Tessin. 1945., which sold at auction in June 2015 for CHF 5,625.00 (€ 5,395.54).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Centrepiece von Pietro Chiesa kam im Mai 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.800,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.875,00 (€ 2.081,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Pietro Chiesa mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Landschaft im Tessin. 1945. beobachtet, die im Juni 2015 für CHF 5.625,00 (€ 5.395,54) versteigert wurde.
