Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Castle Gate by Quan Shanshi was auctioned at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The price achieved of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,945.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Quan Shanshi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tajik Maiden in May 2011 with an auction result of HKD 500,000.00 (€ 44,727.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Castle Gate von Quan Shanshi kam im Mai 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.945,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Quan Shanshi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tajik Maiden im Mai 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 500.000,00 (€ 44.727,32).
