Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work Reading woman by Ralph Hedley for SEK 17,500.00 (€ 1,911.11). This price was achieved in the auction The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm at Bukowski in Stockholm and was even below the estimate range of SEK 25,000.00 – 30,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Ralph Hedley have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Uncle Toby And The Dicky Bird Society in March 2007 with an auction result of GBP 9,000.00 (€ 13,246.97).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Reading woman von Ralph Hedley für SEK 17.500,00 (€ 1.911,11) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Spring Classic Sale, Stockholm bei Bukowski in Stockholm erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 25.000,00 – 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ralph Hedley auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Uncle Toby And The Dicky Bird Society im März 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 9.000,00 (€ 13.246,97).
