Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Hommage à Claude Lorrain by Raoul Dufy was sold in the Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 37,800.00 (€ 44,468.10) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Dufy achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les Regattes À Trouville in February 2015 with an auction result of GBP 1,505,000.00 (€ 2,075,171.47).

Die Arbeit Hommage à Claude Lorrain von Raoul Dufy wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art Online including Works from the Collection of Marina Picasso bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 37.800,00 (€ 44.468,10) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 30.000,00 – 40.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Dufy erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les Regattes À Trouville im Februar 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.505.000,00 (€ 2.075.171,47).
