Auction result well in line with expectations
The work L'Acteur, 1946 by Raoul Hausmann was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2005. The price achieved of GBP 7,200.00 (€ 10,629.46) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raoul Hausmann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hannah Höch, which sold at auction in December 2004 for EUR 24,570.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit L'Acteur, 1946 von Raoul Hausmann kam im Mai 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 7.200,00 (€ 10.629,46) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Raoul Hausmann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hannah Höch beobachtet, die im Dezember 2004 für EUR 24.570,00 versteigert wurde.
