Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Composition by Raoul Ubac was auctioned at Christies in Paris in October 2012. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Raoul Ubac achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée in October 2012 with an auction result of USD 104,500.00 (€ 80,645.16).

Die Arbeit Composition von Raoul Ubac kam im Oktober 2012 bei Christies in Paris zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Raoul Ubac erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La Triomphe De La Stérilité Ou Penthesilée im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 104.500,00 (€ 80.645,16).
