Sold at the lower estimate price
The work AIR FRANCE by Raymond Savignac was sold in the Posters auction at Christies in London in June 2015. The result of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,409.99) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Raymond Savignac - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Cinzano (Le Zèbre), which sold at auction in November 2010 for GBP 2,375.00 (€ 2,838.12).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit AIR FRANCE von Raymond Savignac wurde im Juni 2015 in der Auktion Posters bei Christies in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.409,99) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Raymond Savignac mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Cinzano (Le Zèbre) beobachtet, die im November 2010 für GBP 2.375,00 (€ 2.838,12) versteigert wurde.
