Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled nos. 2, 3, 5 & 8, 1992 by Robert Graham was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in September 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,075.00 (€ 8,597.88) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Robert Graham achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Frieze: Figures I-A, I-E, I-F, Ii-D, Iii-D in May 2007 with an auction result of USD 390,000.00 (€ 289,898.16).
