Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,550.00 (€ 2,259.24). Admittedly, works by Robert Philipp have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior Of The Metropolitan Museum in October 2007 with an auction result of USD 28,000.00 (€ 19,353.06).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Restaurant von Robert Philipp wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion American Art bei Bonhams in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.550,00 (€ 2.259,24) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Robert Philipp auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior Of The Metropolitan Museum im Oktober 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.000,00 (€ 19.353,06).
