Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art, which included the work Leda by Roberto Diago. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 10,080.00 (€ 8,654.59) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Roberto Diago achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Extasis in November 2000 with an auction result of USD 94,000.00 (€ 108,120.54).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Leda von Roberto Diago zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 10.080,00 (€ 8.654,59) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Roberto Diago erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Extasis im November 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 94.000,00 (€ 108.120,54).
